Dorfjungs. is a digital-first design studio from Karlsruhe specialized on digital customer experiences. Due to their continuous growth as an agency, I relaunched the brand and website as resident art director.

The entire team was involved in rebuilding the agency brand. For this, I chose a highly inclusive design approach: All members took part in a brand identity questionnaire, on which the brand concept was then based. We defined "Jemand, mit dem man Pferde stehlen kann" (German for "someone to steal horses with"; a ride-or-die companion) as the core message of our brand. Interim presentations kept the team in the loop and allowed for feedback. Based on this, we created the final design.

The community based design approach of the rebranding process allowed us to tap into the different skillsets of all resident designers and developers. Art direction made sure the design stayed consistent during the phases when the rebranding process was opened to the entire team. The overall design played into our strengths as a team while also following a precise and well constructed brand concept.

During our rebranding, we moved our office into a beautiful old building. The new headquarter serves many purposes: It's a place of productivity, exchange and a home base for all our digital nomads.

By creating a clean and decluttered interior concept, we were able to work with the unique style of the old building and make it our own. The cohesive color scheme makes it a stylish work environment that feels surprisingly home-y. The new brand identity is visible in all aspects of our daily work and creates a shared team identity.

For the new corporate design we wanted to create the appearance of a professional design studio while also staying true to our youthful, tongue in cheek spirit. The result is a blend of characterful typefaces, authentic photography, lighthearted scribbles and 3D key visuals.
